Leah Fair accomplished Tuesday what no Colorado State women's track athlete has done in nearly eight years. Fair, a transfer athlete who previously competed at Coastal Carolina, was named the Mountain West Women's Track Athlete of the Week after blazing to victory in the 200-meter dash and placing third in the 60-meter dash at last Friday's Air Force Collegiate Open. As the CSU track & field team travels to Boulder, Colo., Friday for the Potts Indoor Invitational, Fair will set out to defend her award while leading the very talented women's sprint squad into action against their in-state rival and others.
