The 2014 cross country season was an historic one for the Colorado State cross country team. Led by head coach Art Siemers and assistant Scott Dahlberg, the men's squad charged to a 19th-place finish at the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championships, a seven-place improvement from the 2013 season and the best for a CSU men's team since 2003. The women's crew saw drastic improvement at the end of the 2014 season, placing sixth at the NCAA Mountain Regional.
