Gabby McDonald, a sophomore at Colorado State, won the women's shot put title with a mark of 55-2.75 (16.83m) at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. McDonald also finished second in the discus throw at 177 feet (53.94m) and placed ninth in the hammer throw at 172-9 (52.65m) for the Rams.
