Jackson Morris, a sophomore at Colorado State, won the men's javelin throw and discus throw titles at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Morris triumphed in the discus with a sixth-round performance of 185-7 (56.58m) and won the javelin with a second-round effort of 225-6 (68.74m). Morris also placed fourth in the shot put with a mark of 54-4 (16.56m) for the Rams.
