Michaela Hawkins, a sophomore at Colorado State, won the women's discus throw with a fifth-round effort of 183-5 (55.90m) at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. It marked the fourth consecutive women's discus crown for the Rams.
